The Senior Manager, WWRACE Delivery Operations is responsible for running the global Delivery and Enablement Operations team.  The WWRACE team delivers world-class sales and technical training to support our sales teams and partners in accelerating VMware?s growth.   The Delivery and Enablement Operations team is essential to program delivery, working behind the scenes to schedule, host, and support execution.  The ideal candidate is comfortable bringing structure to ambiguity, working on many programs at the same time, and excited about leading a global team.

Job Role and Responsibility

  • Lead and manage the team to successfully support and deliver WWRACE programs
  • Analyze processes and engagement models to continually improve service offerings
  • Work in both physical and virtual training environments, making recommendations that best align with program goals
  • Facilitate discussion between stakeholders as new business needs arise
  • Design and implement ?hybrid? program delivery models to accommodate ongoing COVID in person capacity limits and concerns
  • Maintain, communicate, and support processes and policies for consistency
  • Partner with Meeting and Events team and Strategic Sourcing on contracts
  • Goals for the next six months:
    • Build consistent approach to content publishing across all learning management systems and training consumption channels
    • Contribute to large event program policies and templates
    • Ensure a smooth transition for the team and their workloads as countries begin to loosen COVID restrictions

Required Skills:

  • Experience in Sales Enablement, Software, Operations, or Event Management
  • Operations and management experience including budget, headcount, operating plan management
  • Agility and speed in decision making, and being comfortable with iterative approach
  • Strong project management skills, able to prioritize by working closely stakeholder and team
  • Deep analytical skills and ability to process information quickly
  • Strong sense of self and can relate well to others; learns quickly and can adapt to changes in timeframes, can handle people and situations with ease; remains calm under pressure
  • Exceptional communication, written and organizational skills
  • People development support
  • Strong team player
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Experience with Zoom, FreshService, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Office a plus
