JOB PURPOSE: To provide direct supervision of labor and daily management of Nitrogen pumping operation. Responsible for monitoring field activities of operators and transport drivers. In addition, performs administrative tasks with a high degree of accuracy, and any combination of the following tasks: Customer Service, Safety and other general duties as required.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Includes the following but not limited to:
? Supervise moderate to complex projects with focus on safety and customer service
? Conduct Field Safety Inspections ensuring compliance with Airgas policies and procedures and report findings to the District Manager
? Promote safety culture with Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Near Miss reporting, Safe Start training, and QMS implementation
? Reports regulatory compliance issues and concerns to District Manager, HSE Specialist/Manager.
? Communicates operational status on a continual basis to the District Manager.
? Complete Safety observations and one on one safety conversations with each associate
? Completes evaluations of field associates and provides recommendations to the District Manager for advancement, demotion, termination or hiring of employees
? Leads, trains, and disciplines pumping associates to ensure compliance with Airgas policies and procedures.
? Supports and participates in the HSEQ & RM programs and objectives established by the entity
? Ensure all fuel receipts, and job packet are submitted to District Manager on daily basis
? Attend customer pre-job site surveys and safety meetings
? Properly manage fuel purchases, seeking best price/service for an area
? Manage employee time to maximize use of straight time and minimize overtime
? Complete initial and periodic operator certifications on pumping units
? Operate and trouble-shoot ALL Airgas equipment
? Assist in the modification and repair of Nitrogen Pumping units.
? Other functions as directed by supervisor

EDUCATION and/or Experience:
? High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
? 5 years of industry experience
? Current CDL with Tanker endorsements
? Must obtain a Hazmat endorsement and TWIC card within 90 days of hire date
? Basic knowledge and abilities in Microsoft Excel, Word and office equipment
? Working knowledge of nitrogen pumping equipment and products.
