The Strategic Client Development Manager (SCDM) is the front line of the sales process and spends their days cold-calling and doing targeted e-mail outreach into nonprofit organizations. SCDM’s are measured by their seamless handoffs of qualified leads to the Strategic Business Development team.

We are looking for you to join our sales organization as Strategic Client Development Manager (SCDM).  Our ideal candidate is a polished, focused, driven and highly motivated individual interested in joining our expanding inside sales team.  The SCDM is the front line of the sales process and spends their days cold-calling and doing targeted e-mail outreach into nonprofit organizations.  A successful SCDM has exceptional communication skills, loves the thrill of the hunt, and is determined to succeed.  SCDM’s are measured by their seamless handoffs of qualified leads to our Strategic Business Development team.  Success in this role is obtained by hitting and exceeding monthly goals, consistently staying ahead of daily metrics, and handling pressure in stride, all in a team-focused environment. The long-term goal for this role is to graduate into a full cycle sales role as an Account Executive in 12-18 months.

You’re passionate about introducing mobile solutions to clients which will yield a solid stream of qualified sales leads to the Business Development team.  You’re at home talking to prospective clients and key industry stakeholders about their mission objectives, their roles in achieving these and how a strategic mobile technology partner can make them successful. You’re accustomed to a high-performance routine to search out new opportunities, introduce solutions and their value proposition, as well as qualify new business opportunities. You are a team player that also knows how to leverage the expertise around you and can be the point of inception of a sophisticated client acquisition pursuit.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent written communication and email outreach etiquette
  • Dynamic, articulate and friendly telephone presence 
  • Knack for product details and cutting-edge technology
  • Positive can-do attitude and a burning desire to win
  • Good listener yet assertive, persistent, and persuasive
  • Keen on feedback for continuous self-improvement

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete 60+ phone and email outreach efforts per day to non-profit organizations  
  • Respond to inbound inquires and perform aggressive outreach after product webinars
  • Methodically qualify, build, convert and assign sales pipeline in Salesforce
  • Consistently surpass monthly lead conversion quotas through relentless activity

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years of inside web/phone sales or relevant experience 
  • 5+ years of overall business experience in sales/marketing
  • Familiar with digital solutions and online fundraising technology
  • Previously trained in consultative, value-based selling         
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM for prospecting
  • Bachelor’s Degree
