Visit www.samsung.com/us/sas.SAS is focused on being the World’s Best Foundry product supplier.Role and Responsibilities* Supervisor for Manufacturing Operations.* As a member of the Manufacturing Operations shift team, the employee is directly responsible for managing a team of 4 to 15 manufacturing specialists that maintain the flow of production through sections of the line, during their shift, while achieving world class speed and quality.* Duties of a Manufacturing Supervisor include but are not limited to: people-management and all the ensuing duties that encompass it, troubleshooting advanced production issues through the use of a computer; making decisions based on best known methods or operating procedures; tracking, documenting, and communicating production roadblocks; and working as a team with outside departments to improve manufacturing performance.* Work days and hours: CWW, D-Shift (Wed, Thu, Fri, every other Sat / 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM).Skills and Qualifications* 4-year degree in Industrial Engineering, or related Engineering field.* 1 year minimum experience with demonstrated success in inventory analysis, production control, capacity planning, lean manufacturing, six sigma, or project management.* Effective Communication, Ability to analyze data, identifies issues, and provides solutions to closure.* Ability to influence up, down, and across the organization to create change.* Excellent critical thinking and decision making skills; recognize 3rd & 4th order effects of a catalyst event.* Effective organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.* Must be able to coordinate and communicate technical information to and from all levels of the organization.* A history of “hands-on” approach to problem solving and countermeasure implementation within own areas of responsibility.* Proactive and self-driven approach to overcome challenges and achieve results.* Basic knowledge of relevant programming languages: Visual Basic (Excel), Oracle, Secs, PL/SQL, SQL.* Basic data analysis skills; analyzing & interpreting data.* Experience in manufacturing sciences (Theory of Constraints, Lean Manufacturing, Capacity Planning, and Flow Optimization).* Please visit Samsung membership to see Privacy Policy, which defaults according to your location.
