HR Manager

Our Global HR team partners with our business leaders to attract, retain, and develop Hilton’s most important asset, our Team Members.

What will I be doing?

As a Manager, Human Resources (HR) Systems Release Management, you will support Hilton’s HR Technology release management lifecycle. You will schedule, coordinate, and manage releases across the organization for Hilton’s HR applications, including but not limited to Oracle HCM (Human Capital Management) cloud and Oracle Taleo Enterprise Edition. You will also support the release of quarterly updates, and the deployment of new system functionality via change management processes, as well as manage and coordinate environment schedules and refreshes.

More specifically, you will:

    -Execute the directives of the organization’s mission, goals, and objectives to ensure that HR systems are maintained and configured
    -Ensure that all configurations and interfaces are in place and follow Hilton’s Governance structure
    -Maintain the release schedule and ensure alignment with business partners and vendors
    -Handle risks and resolve issues that affect the release scope and schedule
    -Collaborate with software vendors and business partners to understand the impacts of new functionality
    -Improve the release process on an ongoing basis
    -Coordinate pre-release demos
    -Assist in the technical configuration of features and functionality
    -Responsible for release of change management requests (CR’s) into the environments
    -Review release notes, and provide guidance to product Leads
    -Assist in Regression Testing on Hilton’s HR Technology for vulnerabilities and improvements
    -Engage and collaborate with end-users on a regular basis to understand system issues and offer business solutions
    -Provide excellent project management and customer service
    -Cultivate a “team member experience” focus and supportive culture through the HR Systems team
    -Serve as a change leader to achieve positive and significant team member encounters while improving team member productivity
    -Ensure that all systems are meeting IT Security and regulatory compliance requirements
