Valukoda is assisting a client, an innovator in the health and wellness space, to hire a Director of Sales.

The Director of Sales is responsible for the processes, tools, and technologies that support the Sales and Marketing teams.

In addition, this position is responsible for developing and overseeing a smooth, effective sales process to enable growth of the organizations they support.

The Director of Sales will manage and lead a sales team of 8 to 10 members.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Understands the organization’s systems, processes, and workflows to provide the sales team with recommendations, measurements, tracking, and relevant analytics to assist producers to drive sales.

Coordinate with Sales and Marketing teams to refine the lead generation process, analyze, create reports, and manage dashboards.

Ability to analyze and report on campaign performance.

Create monthly content for executive presentations and board reporting.

Track and analyze key metrics including pipeline growth, win/loss rates, and quota attainment.

Assist with the end-to-end process of tracking the sales funnel, operational metrics, and delivering regular insights to the business.

Collaboratives with sales team and others to develop sales opportunities, how these opportunities are tracking against sales plans and identify problems for internal review and problem solving.

Partners with sales team to create and maintain sales forecasting models and data.

Creating and maintaining sales department procedures, training manuals, a sales-related resource material.

Assist with the onboarding and training process of new sales member.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Education: Bachelor’s degree required in a business-related field preferred

Experience:
Minimum of 3 years in leading/managing a sales team 3
– 5 years of experience in sales operations, proficient creating reports, optimizing processes, training new hires, and managing dashboards.

Ability to understand high-level sales strategies, translate them into system and process requirements, and ensure execution and business impact.

Advanced Excel skills with a strong understanding of Salesforce, or other CRM applications and email marketing strategies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00
– $160,000.00 per year
