We are looking for a dynamic business development director to help us in vertical and horizontal growth of our social media analysis offering.

The candidate will own quota target and will be responsible for territory/vertical/offering.

We are looking for core hunters who specialize in solution selling instead of product selling.

Our brand reputation and experience will depend on how the candidate represents us and our offerings.

The ideal candidate will be a major growth driver in our expansion strategy across different industry verticals.

Responsibilities
Identify target accounts for our social media analytics offering and develop a strategy for the geography/vertical/offering Design and implement campaigns to penetrate these accounts Drive the sales cycle to ensure wins (Incl.

prospecting, presentations, proposals, POCs, negotiations, etc.) Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets for the assigned territories and accounts Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with corporate customers and PR agencies Establish key sales planning tools Drive funnel and forecast accuracy Maintain and communicate regular measurements to ensure progress to revenue targets Understand customer drivers, markets and align strategies and action plans accordingly Monitor customer, market and competitor activity/trends and share with the company leadership team Develop annual sales quotas for regions and territories; Understand market trends, customer needs, vertical/geography specific landscapes and opportunities to develop effective plans for market share and revenue growth

Requirements
At least 5
– 8 years of experience in Sales / Business Development in the US Market; preferably in a Social Media Analytics (Social Media Insights & Research, Media Monitoring & Measurement Services) / Consulting / Market Research environment Ready to travel frequently within the US (East coast mostly) Documented history of achieving sales quotas Vertical expertise in Pharma/CPG/Technology will be a plus Functional expertise in media monitoring, social media Insights, measurement and research services A self-reliant, resourceful BD person with a consultative selling approach Experience with pitching and close deals at the C-suite level (VP/CMO/CCO) Proven sales experience, consistently meeting or exceeding targets Highly developed leadership, Sales Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting skills Demonstration of a consistent over-achievement of client acquisition and sales revenue targets.

Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills Excellent verbal and written communications skills BA/BS degree, MBA preferred
