The Marketing Director helps develop and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns that build and sustain strong sales revenue.

Coordinates and initiates sales and marketing related functions of the community.

Implements sales and marketing plans that will meet and exceed the overall business plan census goals and financial objectives.

The Marketing Director is responsible for overseeing, developing and implementing all leasing and marketing functions at the community.

The position also requires being able to establish effective working relationships with all staff, Residents and their families, and those individuals involved in organizations that support the senior housing industry.

He or she manages all sales efforts for the community, which includes developing and maintaining full occupancy within the parameters of the marketing and sales budgets.Adheres to and conveys a philosophy that supports the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and individuality of residentsManages the admissions process to ensure resident and family satisfactionMaintains network of referral sources, providing information via marketing materials or presentations as neededDevelops, manages, and monitors new marketing campaignsResearches, writes, and distributes press releasesManages inventory of marketing materials and adheres to set budgetsWorks with outside vendors of production of marketing and sales materialsConducts research and analyses results as neededEstablishes department goals and ensures all stated goals are metConduct tours, luncheons, or other strategies with prospective Residents and prospective Residents groupsConducts the admission process of signing and explaining admission policies and procedures to residents and familyResponsible for conducting sales calls to designated targeted referral sources which may include but not be limited to physicians, hospitals, social workers and community organizationsPerforms other duties as assignedDemonstrated success in planning, implementing, and evaluating successful marketing campaignsStrong leadership and motivational skillsStrong research skills (conventional and internet)Excellent public speaking, communication, and presentation skillsSuperior relationship building, networking, and customer service skillsAble to work a flexible schedule, which may include working days, evenings, weekends, and holidaysExcellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stressStrong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environmentHighly professional and dependableCollege degree in Marketing or a related field preferredAt least two years of direct involvement in a selling oriented environment with preference in sales and marketing of senior living or an equivalent combinationAt least one year of supervisory or management experience
