In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination of daily work activities with outside Account Manager(s) to manage complex customers’ needs for ABB Electrical Installation Products division supporting the Pacific Coast (Hawaii, California, Nevada, Arizona, & New Mexico) region.

Reporting to the District Sales Manager, you will be developing the implementation of proactive programs responding to customer requirements, assisting in achieving equitable solutions as well as the co-ordination of investigations of complaints.

Your responsibilities Responsible for the execution of daily customer activities including order management with local business units and other ABB groups; timely response to customers inquiries with appropriate ABB solution; quantify and resolve customer complaints and needs Utilize ABB resources and tools to grow break into new accounts, as well as, grow shelf space in existing distribution customers Utilize ABB ‘s tools and processes including product configuration tools, and business systems.

Responsible for coordinating activities with local business units to track orders and assure on-time customer delivery Monitor and proactively communicate backorder status on key customer orders Coordinate input from local business units and other ABB groups to ensure bid proposals meet to customer requirements.

Simultaneously process information on multiple and varied projects and respond effectively to changes in priorities Attend meetings to exchange information and analyze contract requirements.

Participate in investigating technical problems and establishing procedures and corrective actions to avoid recurrences.

Duties may require domestic or international travel to customer location or ABB site Initiate change orders and expedite collection of overdue invoices May require periodic customer reporting for outstanding orders, Vendor Managed Inventory or Blanket Order management Work with regional sales team to ensure pipeline is updated and current in Salesforce Design and recommend promotion and programs to grow our position with customers as opportunities arise Your background High school diploma or equivalent with 1-5 years of customer support and or sales experience and or industry experience.

General knowledge of power transmission & distribution products/systems preferred.

Previous experience with business to business customer support preferred.

Must have knowledge and skill in utilization of computer databases.

Combination of education and experience demonstrating ability for more complex assignment and/or promotable within the power product/systems sales organization.

Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
