Come build your career with BAE Systems.Supports the development and implementation of short and long term supply chain strategies that address engineering development and material planning challenges in support of business growth.

Facilitates business execution to ensure supply plan aligns with the engineering and program development processes.

Leads and acts as focal point for all supply chain activities interfacing with the site s engineering team.

Monitors key performance indicators, analyzes performance data, and coordinates cross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives.

Optimizes the interface between supply chain management and engineering.

Plans, prepares, issues and controls production schedules and material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials is timed to meet requirements.Provides risk management and mitigation on all identified delivery risks by working with the engineering, procurement and commodity teams.

Supports the shipment of product to maintain contract and internal delivery commitments.

This position requires that the individual possess a strong understanding of the procurement and planning processes and is capable of troubleshooting process failures to ensure program success.

Plans, organizes, and prioritizes team responsibilities to accomplish objectives.

Drives continuous improvement philosophy and approach to problem solving and process improvement.**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**Knowledge of Supply Chain Planning systems and processesAbility to verbally and accurately report production status to program team or factory team.Good analytical and problem solving skillsMicrosoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**Extremely detail-oriented and organizedBachelor s degree in Business/Supply Chain or related field**Supply Chain Planner
