The Role

As part of the Digital Product Information Management team, the Data Engineer will work within the Informatica Product360 PIM tool and fulfill various technical roles. The candidate for this role would have technical and functional expertise in working with complex, data driven systems and some experience with Informatica’s Product360 would be ideal. The Data Engineer would be part of all request and project phases from initiation through development and to completion. The role will report to the PIM Project Manager with support from the PIM Architect.

Responsibilities

  • Light development within the P360 tool to support minor updates
  • Execute data and configuration updates to support all ongoing initiatives
  • Lead QA testing of system updates
  • Requirements gathering and gap analysis for any new request or project that requires PIM development
  • Capture clear and concise notes during meetings
  • Support on-call, after hours support as part of a rotating schedule – this will be a shared responsibility among the team with a defined on-call schedule
  • Lead technical requirements gathering and documentations of requirements
  • Work with integration team and upstream & downstream sources to align on technical integration setup
  • Help support testing initiatives and technical troubleshooting

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or other related field preferred
  • Product360 Professional Certification preferred
  • 5+ years working with product information management tools or within product data in an entry level developer role
  • Experience with Informatica Product360 is ideal
  • Experience supporting integration development, testing, and implementations (Import/Export processes between systems)
  • Expertise with XML/XSD
  • Understanding of Oracle Databases is a plus
  • 5+ years working within the digital commerce (eCommerce) space
  • Experience with the Hybris eCommerce platform is a plus
  • Expertise in translating and aligning functional and technical requirements with support from the Project Manager and PIM Architect
  • Demonstrated ability to take direction and see tasks through to completion
  • Demonstrated ability to raise blockers and concerns in a timely fashion
  • Ability to share and communicate ideas both verbally and in writing to project leads, business sponsors and technical resources, in clear concise language
  • Responsive and alert to new learning opportunities, growth and development of technical, interpersonal and business skills

  • Base Pay, $87,000 – $125,000 annually. Final pay rate shall be determined and is based on experience and qualifications.
