Job Title: Insurance Verification Rep.

Location: Work From Home (Must reside in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area)

Pay: $19/hr.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm

Job Description:

Provides patients, physicians, and internal hospital personnel with information regarding insurance benefit information. The Insurance Specialist ensures timely verification of insurance benefits and financial clearance when applicable for patient accounts that are scheduled and/or unscheduled. The Insurance Specialist calculates Patient Financial Responsibility and collaborates with physician and facility staff. The role also documents in appropriate systems to assure correct reimbursement

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED

• Must have at least 1 year of insurance verifications experience in a doctor’s office or hospital setting

• Familiar with a healthcare office environment and healthcare/medical terminology

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and stay organized

• Must be able to work independently while working from home

• 35+wpm typing – minimum

• COVID Vaccination & Flu Shot required for this specific role

• Cannot be a smoker – nicotine will be included on the drug screening
