This is a Full-time position in Dallas, TX posted July 4, 2021.

GI Alliance is seeking an experienced Insurance Refund Coordinator.Duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:Evaluate refund requests and credit balances and corresponding documentation to assess whether a refund is applicable based on the accuracy of the filling, overpayments, payer audits or other management directives.Research payer and contract guidelines for refund timeless.File appeal for inappropriate refund request.Notify insurance company if error was due to processing the claim so it can be corrected.Prior to processing a request for a refund, verify that all related patient accounts are current.

If past due, apply refund to account.Assemble documentation and submit request for refund to manager for approval.Maintain accurate and timely notes of actions taken in database.Work within performance expectations of management.Comply with all related federal and state regulations.Comply with TDDC policies.Perform other duties as assigned.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsMS Office experience, particularly in MS Word and MS ExcelKnowledge of CPT codes, medical terminology, insurance plans and ICD 10 codes.Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment.Detail-orientedBasic understanding of health care plansBe able to read and understand medical benefits.Please Note: All job offers are contingent on the successful completion of pre-employment credit and criminal history check.NOTE: ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL FOR CONSIDERATION.No phone calls or agencies, please.EEO/AA-M/F/disabled/protected veteran
