The Lead Quenche Barista will be an integral member of the team that creates distinctively different and authentic experiences for our guests.

S/he will be responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages.

S/he will use the freedom to go beyond to turn guest interactions into memorable experiences.

The Lead Quenche Barista shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times.

What you will have an opportunity to do:Essential Functions:Assist upper level management with the supervision of the Quenche teamEnthusiastically welcome our guests into the restaurantMixes ingredients to prepare cocktails and other beverages according to recipeChecks identification to verify age requirements for alcohol purchase/consumptionShare your knowledge and recommendations of the food & beverage menus to our guestsUtilize the freedom to go beyond and take initiative to resolve guest complaints and create loyaltyCreate memorable experiences with your welcoming personality by genuinely relating to guests and associatesMaintains an up to date working knowledge of all Resort and Spa amenities as well as any special eventsCommunicate with culinary team regarding meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs and special requestsMulti-task with an impeccable eye for detail to ensure accuracy and efficiencyEnsures proper handling, cleaning and sanitation of equipment, glass and silverwareOther duties as assigned Experience and Education:High school education or equivalent requiredAt least one year Barista experience preferredAt least one year Hospitality experience preferredAt least six months experience with POS systems preferredAt least one year Bartending experience preferredAt least one year of customer service experience requiredTABC & FH required Job Requirements:Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permitMust be at least 18 years of ageMust be able to read, write and speak EnglishMust be able to work well under pressureMust be able to accurately follow instructions, both verbally and writtenMust be highly detailed orientatedMust be able to work in a fast paced environmentMust have excellent listening skillsMust possesses excellent communication skillsMust be professional in appearance and demeanorMust always ensure a teamwork environmentAbility to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidaysMust have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the guests and associatesMust have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful mannerMust have a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests Working Conditions:Must be able to stand on feet throughout the shift, with intermittent periods of walking and stair climbing.Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 25 lbs at shoulder heightMust be able to frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs; Must be able to bend, squat, push and pull frequently; Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, squeezing, overhead reaching and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently.
