The Lead Technician performs a dual role, works as a technician performing repair work as needed to ensure timely completion of service; and as a shift supervisor to ensure qualified technicians perform repairs correctly and efficiently and that the service department maintains a consistently high level of customer satisfaction.Rush Truck Leasing opens the door to the world of opportunity.

Grow with us as we continue to expand our network of locations and services.Responsibilities:* Assist employees with questions and resolution of technical work problems.* Provide training on an as need basis, appraise employee performance, reward and discipline them when warranted, and address complaints, and solve problems.* Assist the Service Manager in screening employee candidates, conducting interviews, and hiring.* Assist technicians in developing their skills and ensure assigned personnel receive appropriate manufacturer’s training.* Greet customers, communicate clearly and professionally any changes in repair(s) that would affect cost and/or delivery expectations.* Perform all necessary diagnostic and documentation functions on the company computer system.* Schedule repair work and assigns technician(s) to mechanical segments that match their skill level to ensure quality.Benefits:* We offer exceptional compensation and benefits, 401K and stock purchase, incentives for performance, training, and opportunity for advancement
