This is a contract to hire position. Will be on-site in Allen, Texas. Background and drug test to be passed prior to starting at the direct client. This Tier I Technical Support Representative would be supporting our Dash and Body Camera and Evidence Management Software Division. Job Description The Representative is responsible for diagnosing and resolving customer issues through phone, web, email, and direct customer interaction. They are also responsible for maintaining critical relationships developed by other departments throughout the problemresolution cycle. Additionally, they will communicate actively with other departments detailing specific customerrsquos issues. Answer Inbound Technical Support Calls (about 30 to 40 callsday) Track and resolve issues Interface with Tier 2 on customer issues and comments Help Maintain online Knowledge Base Provide Technical Assistance to Regional Sales Managers daily Answer after hours calls from customers Customer Advocate CompTIA certifications preferred Basic Requirements 1-2 years of demonstrated inbound Call Center experience Minimum High School degree. Some college preferred Previous technical supportengineeringtrouble shooting experience Linux Experience Intake Notes Temp to hire – 3 months to start with possible extension or hire after 3 months Need to have either or both Linux Windows OS exp and certification – CCNA, MCSE, COMP TIA (Data network) Location – Onsite only Mon- Fri hours can range from 7a to 7P but will work 8 hours a day 40 hours a week
