Job Summary:Follows all safety guidelines, rules; environmental and regulatory guidelines; uses all required safety equipment.Maintains quality and cleanliness of the work area and equipment.Maintains, repairs, and troubleshoots operational equipment, such as pallet wrappers, paint tinting equipment, loading dock doors and plates, and air compressors.Investigates and troubleshoots equipment breakdowns to identify and address root cause failures in an efficient and cost effective manner.Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements including inspection, lubrication, adjustments, and cleaning per instruction manuals, manufacturer’s requirements, and operational specifications.Performsgeneral building maintenance (lighting, plumbing, HVAC, etc.), and conducts regular tests on safety equipment (emergency lighting, eyewashes, etc.).Install, assemble and/or test new assets and equipment; participate in trainingas needed to support new equipment.Order, maintain, and organize spare parts and tools needed for maintenance of facility and warehouse equipment.Coordinates with outside contractors or equipment manufacturers as necessary, including repairs, installations, security, fire prevention, loss control, etc.Proactively monitors equipment performance through observation and communication with operations team members to identify potential issues or failure prior to breakdown.Maintains proper records of all maintenance, security systems/controls, fire prevention systems/controls, etc.Maintains proper facility and asset integrity including structural, HVAC, lighting, electrical, plumbing, boiler operation, repairs and improvements.Takes initiative in identifying and implementing opportunities to improve site safety, quality, lead time, or costEngages in implementing improvements to facility operations, Health and Safety / Administration.In collaboration with facility leadership, participates and contributes to development and execution of facility improvements, including CapEx projects.Provides guidance and training to all operators on skill development, processes and techniques.May be requested to work other shifts as necessary.Experience with Raymond MHE equipment and Lantech Lean Wrap machine is a plus.LEAN experience a plus.Other duties as assigned.Reporting directly to the Logistics Supervisor, this role will work seamlessly with the Maintenance Department to maintain appropriate repairs and troubleshooting of equipment.

Required Skills:High School or equivalent and2 year Trade (technical) degree or certificate preferred.Minimum 3-5 years progressive experience in manufacturing and/or maintenance or similar industry.Ability to read and diagnose using schematics and operations manuals.Good understanding and troubleshooting of electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems.Ability to install machinery following OEM guidelinesStrong training in LO/TO, Arch Flash (NFPA 70E).Understanding of OSHA regulations in a warehouse environmentGood interpersonal communication skills.Strong organizational skills.Ability to work in a team environment.
