S/he will make sure that the water is clean and safe.

S/he will participate in the preventive maintenance program.

S/he will work closely with the Lead Pool Technician in scheduling work and setting priorities.

What you will have an opportunity to do:Essential Job Functions:Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment.

Use equipment only as intended.Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.Maintain positive guest relations at all times.Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.Carry out scheduled water cleaning, using chemicals like chlorineTest water quality and pH balanceClean out filtration unitsService heating, circulation and de-humidifier systemsFix lights above and below water levelCheck and repair corrosion, cracks and leaks in the pool walls or floorsMake sure equipment is in good working orderKeep stock records for cleaning supplies and spare partsAttend to immediate water hygiene incidents.Log and report equipment faults or water quality problems to managers.Other duties as assigned Experience and Education:High School graduate or equivalent preferred.Must understand the usage of hand tools and some power tools.At least 2 years in the hospitality or service industry preferred.At least 3 years of commercial or residential experience as a painter required Job Requirements:Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permitMust be able to work well under pressureMust be able to accurately follow instructions, both verbally and writtenMust be highly detailed orientatedBasic mathematical skillsMust be able to work in a fast paced environmentMust have excellent listening skillsMust possesses excellent communication skillsMust be professional in appearance and demeanorMust always ensure a teamwork environmentAbility to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidaysMust have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the guests and associatesMust have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful mannerMust have a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests Working Conditions:Must be able to stand on feet throughout the shift, with intermittent periods of walkingMust be able to push and pull objects weighing up to 100 lbs.

and grasp, lift or carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionallyMust be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, walk on uneven surfaces on an occasional basisWhile primarily an indoor job, must be able to walk outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, heat)Must be able to climb stairs occasionally, both indoors and outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, heat).
