This position will assist the Tool & Logistics Manager with all day-to-day operations in the warehouse to ensure smooth operations and efficient completion of projects. To be successful in this role, the incumbent must be a professional able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and significant interaction with employees and vendors. ** Job Duties and Responsibilities:*** Work under general supervision of the Tool & Logistics Manager, exercising initiative and independent judgment in the performance of assigned tasks. * Conducts physical inventory, compares results to computerized inventory and reconciles any differences. * Ensure that all inventory is organized and stored in correct locations in the warehouse. * Schedule materials being transferred to and from the warehouse and assign routes for delivery drivers. * Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices. * Communicate with field management on deliveries. * Create and provide reporting for all deliveries to improve efficiencies. * Assist Tool & Logistics Manager with training of new employees. * Operate Forklift as needed. * Observe Alterman s safety and security procedures. * Perform other duties as assigned by management. **Qualifications:*** Bachelors degree from an accredited college; or 6 years of relevant experience and a high school diploma or GED Equivalent. * At least 5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain environment. * Basic knowledge of warehouse operations. * Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills. * Strong attention to detail. * Ability to set priorities, organize work and work in high production environment while responding quickly and effectively under pressure, changing priorities and tight timelines/deadlines. * Solid written and verbal communication skills (spelling, grammar, etc.) with the ability to integrate into a construction environment. * Ability to interact with internal and external customers and vendors. * Strong computer skills with all basic office programs (Outlook and Word) and the ability to learn and use related software and systems are required. * Experience utilizing ToolWatch and Milkwaukee OneKey is preferred.
