Job Description

• Involved in unit and system testing during designing and deployment of the mission-critical infrastructure using motorola solutions LMR and broadband Push-To-Talk (PTT) solution to meet the unique needs of the public safety department and first responders.
• Responsible for designing automated test scripts for validation of new features implemented on MSI (Motorola Solutions, Inc.) to provide robust and fast mission-critical infrastructure.
• Perform thorough testing of mission-critical features to address the unique communications needs of public safety with an extensive set of MCPTT standard-compliant.
• Perform regression and performance testing to check whether any new feature implementation is not breaking legacy features of the msi ptt solution.
• Set up lab environment and infrastructure to test new features like MCPTT, mcvideo, emergency call, and interop communication between LMR radio system and broadband PTT.
• Set up motorola’s lmr network (ASTRO, Dimetra, Mototrbo), ROIP, and P25 network in the lab and test “one to one ” and “one to many” interop communication among them.
• Analyze and troubleshoot sip and media traces with knowledge of audio codecs like AMR-NB, AMR-WB, G711, CODEC2, OPUS, AMBE, and video codecs like H264 etc.
• Develop test cases and execute them as per the acceptance test plan(atp) provided by the public safety department.
• Provide support and rca to our first-class partners in PTT (At&t, Verizon, Sprint, Bell, Telefonica) during network upgrades and outages.
• Keep track of the issues reported during testing and provide the fix in the next upcoming release.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor’s + 5 years experience.
