Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Software Engineer in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * As a Senior Software Engineer design, code, test, debug and document software using a variety of programming languages Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required with 5 years of relevant experience.* 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.* Knowledge of the latest programming languages and techniques.* Extensive experience in creating strategies for developing IT systems and applications.* Experience in evaluating alternative approaches and selecting optimal approaches.

Security Clearance Requirements: * Ability to obtain and maintain a Veteran Affairs Public Trust Physical Requirements: * Must be able to remain in stationary position for up to 50% of the time.* Must be able to move about inside the office or IT environment to access computer systems, modules, equipment, and IT machinery.* Must be able to constantly operate computers and other IT environment systems such as IT machinery, modules, etc.* The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.* Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.* The person in this position must be able to detect, identify, observe, and assess written communications; presentations; and manuals.

For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.

The applicant will be required to answer certain questions for export control purposes, and that information will be reviewed by compliance personnel to ensure compliance with federal law.
