Mobile Application Developer


This is a Contract position in Dallas, TX posted September 3, 2021.

Title: Mobile Application Developer Duration: 6-8 CTH Location: Indianapolis, IN (onsite) Summary Our client’s Digital Team is looking to hire new talent to develop and maintain both their Native, Web apps and provide technical support the entry level Mobile Development Team of four associate developers.

They are looking for bright minds with a basic understanding of object-oriented programming and a willingness to learn.

You will be exposed to the fundamentals of mobile development and be trained on new cutting-edge technologies.

There will be a balance of hands-on development/training and technical support to the entry level Mobile Developers.

· Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science or related field
· Familiarity with Object Oriented Programming and its associated design principles Java and/or Kotlin
· Experience with Android specific Mobile Development
· Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude
· Ability to perform in a collaborative team environment that encourages continued learning
· 2 years of Mobile Development experience Nice-to-have skills
· Portfolio of released applications on the play store/apple store
· Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Firebase
· Mentorship experience in the IT space Responsibilities
· Write clean code to produce fully functional responsive web apps native mobile applications.

· Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release, and support).

· Work with digital development team to gather specific requirements and plan new features.

· Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions, troubleshoot, and debug to optimize performance and improve UX.

· Stay up to date on the newest tech trends; research and suggest new mobile products, applications, and protocols.
