Cloud Sales Consultant

Medical imaging is moving to the cloud. The Cloud Consulting Specialist owns sales responsibility for selling the entire Imaging Cloud Services portfolio including Enterprise Imaging Network (EIN), Imaging Share and Cloud PACs to Healthcare organizations. This position is responsible for building a strong territory in the assigned geography and achieving an orders quota target, managing the sales forecasting process, and building a brand around our solutions within your territory. This position is a “hunter” cloud sales specialist position coordinates and works closely with Installed Base accounts as well as pursuing new logo customers. Deep knowledge of the cloud services marketplace, hybrid cloud, IT sales cycles, and Change Healthcare’s Cloud Products will all be essential for success in the role

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Achieve both net new logo and installed base growth to the Cloud
  • Participate in weekly forecasting process to provide visibility to the sales pipeline status and potential to achieve target bookings, as well as upside and downside risks to achieving target bookings
  • Identify high propensity customers
  • Identify, drive, and acquire KOLs in assigned geography
  • Collaborate and build strong relationships with core Field and sales leaders to ensure proper engagement with core teams and customers
  • Utilize consultative sales experience, especially around the adoption of cloud services in the infrastructure space
  • Lead qualification for all the leads and sales opportunities for Cloud Services within assigned territory
  • Work across multi-functions/multi-individuals to achieve desired results
  • Partner closely with Sales Leaders to support and contribute to achieving bookings and pipeline goals
  • Leverage the Account Executive organization for desired results at top accounts

What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • Deep rooted knowledge and experience selling into the Healthcare organizations – understand their pain points, use cases for Cloud, purchasing processes
  • Minimum 8+ years of sales experience in the IT industry, with Enterprise software and hosted service
  • Provide thought leadership on how HIPAA/HITECH-compliance cloud services will help drive rapid change in the healthcare market, including transformation of healthcare-specific applications such as electronic medical record (EMR) platforms and patient image archive (PACs/VNAs), as well as other enterprise application suites within healthcare-specific offerings
  • Knowledge of the IT hosting and cloud services segment
  • Function as a highly trusted partner who maintains and expects high standards for self and team
  • Able to articulate and evangelize the value of cloud IT solutions
  • Experience with new product introductions
  • Strong leadership and Customer Relationship skills
  • Contract negotiation and deal forecasting experience

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

  • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
  • Ability to demonstrate thought leadership in Healthcare across multiple channels and become a trusted advisor to senior technical and business decision makers
  • Understanding of complex sales cycles at strategic level with capability to provide clear, balanced advice/counsel on a broad range of strategic and complex management, product and go to market issues
  • Ability to develop and deploy the strategy that drives customer partnership, revenue growth and retention
  • Customer centric with the ability to adjust plans and actions to meet changing market and/or customer needs and ability to put creative deals together to drive business growth
  • Highly organized and proficient at executing when experiencing multiple competing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an open, honest, and direct communication style and ability to build relationships across an organization to accomplish goals
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office, Salesforce or other CRMs and healthcare information systems

Willing to travel up to 75%
