RN Registered Nurse – House Supervisor
Full-Time nights with rotating weekends.

Summary:
 
The RN House Supervisor coordinates and supervises the operational and personnel activities for the nursing areas and acts as an administrative liaison for other departments of the hospital for a defined shift. The Medical City North Hills staff member can expect to care for adult patients, including the older adult through geriatric.  
 
Responsibilities:
  • You will be clinically proficient in your nursing skills and demonstrate knowledge of the development needs of patients of all age groups. 
  • You will make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
  • You will prioritize responsibilities and hand multiple priorities simultaneously. 
  • You will regularly handle high stress situations in a professional manner, dealing tactfully with staff, physicians, patients, and visitors. 
Medical City North Hills is an award-winning 164-bed acute care hospital located in the heart of northeast Tarrant County in North Richland Hills. The hospital has over 300 physicians and 30 medical specialties. The ER has about 39,000 visits each year and is a Level III Trauma Center. Additionally, we are a Primary Stroke Center, perform spine surgery and joint replacements and have a comprehensive cardiovascular services department. Our hospital is an accredited Cycle 5 Chest Pain Center with a cardiac rehabilitation program.

Qualifications

Education:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
 
Experience:
  • Four (4) years of relevant work experience.
 
Specific Requirements:

  • Texas State RN license or compact license is accepted;Texas State RN license required 30 days after hire
  • Current in CPR and ACLS from AHS or ARC
  • Obtain SAMA certification within 90 days of starting position
