Zion Healthcare Cypresswoods – Zion Healthcare Cypress is growing in Texas and immediately hiring for FT and PT Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with a sign-on bonus for FT and for PT status.Zion Healthcare Cypress, a leader in the sub-acute and long term care market, seeks an experienced, energetic, and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our growing healthcare team. In this position you will be responsible for providing direct patient care in a caring environment. The selected candidate should have strong clinical skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. We also have an excellent benefits packet.Zion Healthcare Cypress is practicing great infection control and exceeding the CDC guidelines and we have results that we are proud of.Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Duties and Responsibilities:Monitor residents throughout the assigned shift to assure that prescribed treatment is being properly administered as assigned to other RN’s, LVN’s or delegated to nursing assistants. Record findings in the residents’ chart.Receive verbal orders from attending/alternate physician and chart on the physician’s order sheet and inform RN supervisor of changes.Notify the resident’s attending/alternate physician, RN supervisor, as well as the resident’s legal guardian representative, if the resident becomes critically ill, injured, etc.Administer medicationTake TPRs, blood pressures, etc. and chart as requiredLicensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Requirements:Applicants must possess a valid and current LVN license in the State of Texas.Experience in a long term care facility is preferred.
