Job Description: Description: The Manager of Provider Compensation Acclaim analyzes the market on provider compensation practices as well as best practices across the country with regard to model design and application to ensure market competitiveness.

The Manager provides analytical support for administrative, financial, operational, and strategic objectives for the division and clinic leaders.Typical Duties:Leads, manages, coaches, evaluates, and develops a team of professionals to ensure the compensation strategy is implemented effectively and within established budgets.Manages the provider groups compensation strategy to meet objectives with regards to internal equity and external market competitiveness.Develops and models compensation plan scenarios to determine the financial impact to the organization.Supports the development of the provider compensation budget Reviews and reports attainment rates relative to budgeted rate to improve predictive modeling for the budgeting process.Ensures an externally competitive and an internally equitable total compensation administration: base, incentives, productivity, quality, extra shifts, extra call, sign-on bonus, relocation allowance, etc.Analyzes and evaluates external market data and internal alignment Identifies fair market value compensation based on specialty, local and national provider compensation surveys and other applicable factors in accordance with provider group compensation philosophy and guidelines.Assists in developing and operationalizing standards for benchmarking provider compensation to ensure consistency in methodologies, best practice, and competitiveness.

Acts as a liaison between administration, providers, legal counsel, and/or third parties with regards to financial matters impacting provider compensation.Works with outside vendors as needed to ensure total compensation plans meet fair market standards.Participates in all third-party surveys by preparing data input for participation in local, regional, and national salary surveys.Builds and maintains operational reports for acclaim, working with end-users to design, create, document, manage, and fulfill requests for production reports and interactive querying applications.Compiles and manipulates data with the expectation of transforming into logical, defensible, presentable, and actionable information.

Provides analytical support for managers, directors, executives, and clinical leadership.Develops, implements, and maintains front-end presentation (dashboards), automated report solutions, and other BI solutions to support tactical and strategic reporting needs of the organization.Supports preparation and distribution of monthly dashboards to review the performance of the acclaim operational departments, including key performance indicators, benchmarks, metrics, revenue, and operational goals.Works in collaboration with department stakeholders overseeing the improvement of the compensation contract amendment process.Assists the department with implementing and continuously improving utilization of the contract management tool.Maintains relationships with providers through regular visits to communicate, educate and answer questions regarding compensation.Creates and fosters a culture of customer service within the compensation department to better serve all stakeholders.Assists other departments providing necessary data for projects i.E.

proformas.Ensures up-to-date compliance with policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.Performs other job related duties as required.

Qualifications: Required Education and Experience:Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Health Administration, Accounting, or related field of study5 plus years of experience as a financial/operational analyst in healthcareExperience creating compensation plans related to quality outcomesPreferred Education and Experience:Masters Degree in Business, Finance, Health Administration, Accounting, or related field of studyExperience building a compensation portal3 plus years of experience in a teaching hospitalExperience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from multiple data systemsExperience reporting healthcare data (ICD-9/ICD-10, MS DRGs, APR DRGs, CPTs, etc.)Experience writing complex SQL stored procedures to create and aggregate performance metrics from operational dataExperience creating customer-facing interactive querying applications using QlikView or Business Objects Location Address:1412 May StreetFort Worth, Texas, 76104United States
