As a Clinical Pharmacist at Children’s Health, you will play an important part in helping children get the care they need.
The pharmacist is responsible for all pharmaceutical services in the Emergency Department. As a member of the multidisciplinary healthcare team the clinical pharmacist promotes an environment of safe, rational, effective, and efficient medication use while providing services to meet the needs of the patient.
Schedule : 9pm-9am, overnight; 7on/7off
Experience Completion of pharmacy practice residency with pediatric experience, preferred. Pediatric Emergency Room Pharmacy experience, preferred.
Education Four-year Degree (B.S. or Pharm.D) from an accredited school of pharmacy required.
Licenses and Certifications Current Texas Pharmacist license, required. BLS Certification, required. PALS within 180 days of hire, required. ACLS within 180 days of hire, required. IV certification, required. Board of Pharmacy Specialties certification, preferred.
