Respiratory Therapist (night shift) 6K Sign-on-bonus This is an outstanding opportunity for you as a respiratory therapist to play an important part in helping Children’s Health make life better for children at our Plano campus.

Working as part of our multidisciplinary critical care team, you’ll use your training and skills to provide evidence-based care to patients, deliver instruction to patients and their families, and precept novice therapists.

In addition to patient care, you’ll have opportunities to expand your skills through continuing education, and you’ll help develop educational programs for other staff.

The Respiratory Therapist rotates between the Emergency department, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and General Pediatric floor.

Location: Plano, Texas Shift: Night 3/12 Experience Preferred: At least 2 years job related experience Education Required: Two-year associate degree or equivalent experience Preferred: Four-year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Licenses and certifications Required: BLS through the American Heart Association Required: NRP (Plano and NICU core) within 180 days of hire Required: PALS certification within 180 days of hire Required: RRT recognized by the NBRC and an active Texas license Required: RRT-NPS recognized by the NBRC (preferred for CT OR) 1 ½ years About us Children’s Health values the role each member of our team plays in helping us make life better for children.
