Education/Licensures/Certifications: Current Texas RN license CPR certified from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required ACLS within 6-months of hire required Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: 1 year RN acute care/hospital experience preferred Previous medical-surgical staff nursing experience desired Assess, plan, evaluates, documents total nursing process Able to manage 2 to 3 critical care patients on and off a ventilator; flex up and down depending on acuity Critical thinking skills Organized, able to prioritize Self-motivated with exceptional follow-through skills Computer skills necessary; EMR Epic documentation Multi-task constantly and tolerate multiple interruptions Clear and effective communication with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals Compassionate customer service skills Committed to patient and family satisfaction
