Our client is a civil engineering firm specialized in water, wastewater and stormwater design with over 40 years of experience searching for a “seller-doer” at their Dallas, TX office.

TO ENSURE YOUR SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED….
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business or Engineering along with a Minimum of 15 years of experience Direct sales experience Technical knowledge of civil engineering Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to write technical proposals Manage work load to meet deadlines; flexibility to adjust work load to changing demands Ability to prioritize and multi-task; thorough and detail-oriented; highly organized o
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL SPEND YOUR TIME…
Sales and market development for your territory Prepare and submit client-specific and technical proposals for new business Develop and implement strategic sales and market development plans and budgets Develop key customer relationships Ability to cold call and develop new business relationships with decision makers Proactively pursue new business opportunities that match corporate and business unit
objectives and capabilities
Aggressively execute marketing programs that result in successful sales of company
services
Cultivate client relationships by identifying opportunities, marketing our services, managing client expectations and ensuring client satisfaction Ability to be versatile in leading when required, supporting when requested and to serve as a role model and facilitator of the organization.

Lead presentations at client interviews in pursuit of new business opportunities
