As such, our environment relies on thoughtful strategic thinkers to push the boundaries of what we build and how we build.nn nnOur designers believe that great design shouldnt be reserved for consumer products and we believe in the impact design can make on enterprise software and the tools our business runs on every day.nn nnThe Rolenn nnWe are looking for a Product Designer who possesses a broad skillset supporting an end-to-end user-centered-design approach to your work, as well as a more advanced skillset in Interaction and Interface Design.

The majority of our work focuses on our internal enterprise systems which our bankers rely heavily on.nn nnYou should be comfortable with ambiguity and asking questions to form an understanding of a problem before you solve it and then, feel confident in your ability to translate those learnings and insights into thoughtful and detailed design artifacts.

You should also understand the value of design systems and possess thoughtful judgement when working with one.nn nnIn this role, you will work directly with engineers, bankers, and senior stakeholders.

You will have a large degree of autonomy and ownership over the final designs.

So, the ability to understand your user, understand the problem youre solving, communicate your solution to it, and defend your design decisions is crucial to being successful.nn nnRESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONSnn nnDay-to-Day Responsibilitiesnn nnConduct shadowing activities, interviews, and leverages other research methods to discover requirements, pain points, and insightsnn nnDefine personas, user journeys, product concepts, and storyboards, and know when to use which or none at allnn nnDevelop prototypes at varying levels of fidelity to facilitate the journey from rapid iteration to pixel-perfect handoffnn nnUtilize and improve upon our design language, interaction patterns, component set, and grid system to build consistency, reusability, and scalabilitynn nnCollaborate as part of an agile development team to ensure designs are feasible and implemented accuratelynn nnBasic Qualificationsnn nn5-7 years of professional experience designing digital products in a Product Design or Interaction Design rolenn nnExperience designing for and with a component library and set of standard elementsnn nnExperience designing for desktop and mobile, and an understanding of responsive designnn nnHigh degree of expertise and comfort using Sketch and Invision or Figma to design and develop prototypesnn nnStrong visual design skills, particularly with grid systems, typography, layout, and use of colornn nnA basic understanding of system design and information architecturenn nnGreat presentation, workshop, and communication skillsnn nnThe ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, to both lead and donn nnA clean design aesthetic and the ability to simplify the complex by bringing a consumer grade experience to corporate bankingnn nnA point-of-view on Product Design, and the willingness to ask why and propose alternate solutions to a problemnn nnA strong sense of ownership and advocacy for the end-usernn nnPreferred Qualificationsnn nnSkilled at designing data visualizations that illustrate large amounts of data in simple formsnn nnExperience designing micro-interactions and subtle animations that bring an extra level of sophistication to a digital productnn nnService Design knowledge or experience with design thinking methodsnn nnExperience designing for Financial Servicesnn nnExperience working on the client-sidenn nnPortfolio Required
