More information is available at www.Imaginuity.Com.ABOUT THE POSITIONThe Accounting Coordinator is a well-organized self-starter demonstrating exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

This role will provide support to the Director of Finance through data entry, processing and recording transactions, and performing other basic office tasks.

The Accounting Coordinator is highly motivated, reliable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAssists the Director of Finance with creating, editing, and circulating financial documents and other tasks as assigned.Processes the mail, scans, sorts, and distributes to the appropriate parties.Processes and records transactions, including preparing journal entries, managing cash balances, and issuing checks.Verifies and completes payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures invoices are properly coded.Reconcile financial books including incoming and outgoing funds.Organize, file, and maintain financial records.Fields communication from third parties and assists in circulating documents, document review, and version control.Independently research, track, and resolve accounting issues.Performs daily data entry across multiple accounting functions.Assists in preparing financial reports, schedules, and presentations.Verifies data for accuracy.Attends financial meetings and prepares and circulates minutes.Administrative help as needed.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEMaintains confidentiality and professionalism.Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business preferred or high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.Experience with complex entity structures including multiple subsidiaries across different industries preferred.Experience in complex ERP systems, NetSuite preferred.Strong self-starter who takes ownership of tasks and proactively manage assignments.Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and proficient in all other Microsoft Office required.Exhibits strong communication skills both verbally and written.Ability to accurately summarize and articulate information.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask and meet deadlines.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Possesses financial acumen and ability to analyze data and numbers.Knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures and best practices.Imaginuity is committed to complying fully with all applicable laws ensuring equal employment opportunities.
